Please note: We only were able to acquire enough Larimar to make 8 of these. Larimar is a rare, beautiful blue pectolite gemstone found almost exclusively in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean.

Larimar was officially rediscovered in the Dominican Republic in the 1970s, although locals had encountered the stone earlier. Its name is a combination of Larissa, the daughter of one of the men who helped popularize the stone, and mar, the Spanish word for sea.

It is sometimes called the “Caribbean gemstone” because of its unmistakable ocean-like appearance.
